In the Netherlands, over 40,000 children found their place through adoption—a solution both for unfulfilled dreams of parenthood and for children with uncertain prospects in their birth countries. Yet, does this fairy tale notion of adoption, woven with threads of gratitude, parental love, and genuine intentions, truly endure?
Approach
Studio Yoko, responsible for the design of the 4-part documentary series “Afhaalchinees,” has approached us, and together we are collaborating on creating explainers and bumper animations. We have chosen to use a light-hearted stop-motion animation style to enhance the storytelling through these explainers.
