Can I get pregnant if I have unprotected sex? Can I get an STI if I don’t use a condom? These are just a few of the many questions young people have. Yet, the information that answers them isn’t always easy to find.
How could we help?
Rutgers approached us to help them with sex education for Dutch youth — because young people today still have plenty of questions about these topics. Rutgers already had a platform and wanted to share this information with their audience. Their question for us was: how can we tell these stories in a way that feels approachable and keeps young people engaged?
What did we do?
Rutgers gave us a lot of freedom for this project. But before we could start, we needed to ask ourselves a few questions: How do you connect with a specific audience? What kind of style appeals to young people? To find out, we started researching.
